Beware of Canny Scots

Australian Cricket Captain, Rickie Ponting , warned the opposition that Australia were the team to beat at the Cricket World Cup, despite their recent poor run of form. He didn't really say this did he - are you taking the michael out of him here? The reason I say that is that surely this is too witty and shows too much quick thinking for Punter.

Anyway, I trust you are well.

Kind regards from Ireland....

(I thought the joke was funny, by the way)

My wife and my work colleagues also find it rather strange that I would support the English cricket team. I don't think that there was a Scottish cricket team when I was growing up. I suspect it just rained too much to complete a game. My brother has sent me a very nice Saltires jersey, which I will wear with pride until...
