Mice in the House AAAAAAH Run (Not)

One of the more surprising evolutions has been our families attitude towards mice in the house. When we had a mouse in the house last winter, everyone (except me) freaked out and stood on tables elephant style. Now that Hannah's class has pet mice, her attitude has changed completely and mice are cool. I was sure that the only mice in our house would be the computer kind. Anyway Fatso and Skinny are here for the school holidays. Fatso is fat and slow. Skinny is thin and very active. Must be the genes. They are gainfully employed knawing, spinning, climbing, eating and doing all the things that mice do. They seem to go at 200 percent or not at all. On the first night Hannah let them out to play in the castle that she had built with wooden blocks on the kitchen floor. Skinny got out and hid behind the gas stove (where there is rat poison from the mouse incursion from last year). Anyway a stressful 20 minutes later Skinny was recovered and is still alive. Now that would have been a traumatic event. So welcome Skinny and Fatso and stay in your cage! Aren't they cuuuute?
